We never use gluten, wheat, eggs, dairy, peanuts, or tree-nuts in our baking. Furthermore, these items never come into the kitchen, and we require spec sheets for each ingredient from our suppliers, so there’s zero risk of cross contamination. Everything is also certified kosher!

*We do use soy. Please see separate question below for items that are soy-free. Please note that since we use soy in the bakery there is a risk of cross contamination even in the soy-free items.

*We do NOT use sesame in any of our products. However, on an ingredient supplier level, we can not guarantee that there is zero risk of cross contamination from the factory lines on some ingredients.

They are: Bread, Bagels (excluding the chocolate chip bagels), Queen Elizabeth Cake, German Chocolate Cake, Muffins (unless they contain chocolate chips), Date Squares, Blueberry Oat Squares, Cranberry Oat Squares, Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, Sugar Cookies, Gingerbread People, Granola, Pizza Dough, Double Cheeze Pizza, Mediterranean Pizza, White Chocolate Bars, Cookies & Cream Chocolate Bars, “Milk” Chocolate Bars, “Milk” chocolate Fauxblerones, Ice Cream without any inclusions (ie Vanilla Ice Cream, Chocolate Ice Cream), Turtles, Candy Cane Chocolate Bar, Latkes, and Stuffing. In addition to our Queen Elizabeth Cake and German Chocolate Cake, we can also make these soy free cake flavours: Double Chocolate, Chocolate Cherry, Chocolate Raspberry, Coconut Chocolate, and Coconut Cherry, Chocolate Vanilla, and Coconut Vanilla.

We use organic ingredients where possible, but due to the fact that we must source ingredients that are guaranteed to be gluten free, vegan, nut free, and kosher, sourcing organic ingredients isn’t always feasible. 

For the majority of our products, we use cane sugar, also known as sucrose. The brand we use is 100% vegan and does not use any bleach or refining process. We also use brown sugar, icing sugar, agave, and molasses.

We use agave in our granola, bread, and pizza dough instead of sugar. Our Power Cookies are sweetened with agave and molasses, but there is a bit of cane sugar in the dark chocolate chips that are in the cookie. The majority of our savoury items are sugar free. 

Magic! But seriously, it’s a vanilla date cake with a caramelized brown sugar, coconut topping and it’s out of this world!

No. Our products have been developed carefully and omitting or changing an ingredient can compromise the whole thing. We pride ourselves on quality and consistency and modifying a product would not be a fair representation of our treats.

Absolutely! The only exception being the lemon squares. They’ll still be okay, but the texture will change slightly. If you plan to freeze the bread, we recommend slicing it first and take out the pieces as you need them. 

Currently, we have one type of bread (and it’s ridiculously yummy!). Chock full of whole grains like quinoa and millet flour as well as chia and flax seeds. Our bread is just as nutritious as it is delicious. Soft on the inside with a wonderful chewy crust on the outside. This is a gluten free bread that makes no one feel like they’re compromising.

Our dinner rolls and sandwich/burger buns are made with the same dough as our bread loaf.

We also make BAGELS! (And they are one of our top sellers!) We make a variety of flavours and they rotate daily. All varieties can be pre-ordered online.

No, we do not have a slicing machine.

We bake our treats fresh daily and we do not use preservatives. This means that it you’re looking for a specific item, we strongly recommend that you pre-order to ensure you get what you want. Please note that we require 3 days notice for all orders and they must be placed on our website.

If you’re looking for a custom cake or custom sugar cookies, please email specialtyorders@strawberryblondebakery.com with at least 3 days notice. Please note that for some custom orders, especially if they require fondant work, we require 7 days notice.

No. We do not set product aside.

Yes! We can deliver within 30km from our Westboro location (111 Richmond Rd). Simply select “delivery” at the checkout page. We are also on ubereats, doordash, and skip the dishes.
